Larrauri and Southerland Earn All-Conference Selections

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Friday evening, the Sooner Athletic Conference announced their postseason awards for volleyball and the Drovers had two representatives on the list. Yaiza Larrauri earned a second-team all-conference selection and Victoria Southerland was recognized with an honorable mention selection. The duo led USAO to their third consecutive SAC Tournament appearance.

Yaiza Larrauri established herself as one of the best defensive players in the conference this season, recording 415 digs, along with 34 assists, and 14 aces in 25 matches. In her career at USAO, Larrauri has appeared in 78 matches, tallying 607 digs, 56 assists, and 46 aces.

Victoria Southerland made an immediate impact in her first season as a Drover, producing eight double-double performances. Southerland concluded the season with 284 kills, 243 digs, and 42 aces in 29 matches played.
