Drovers Open the Outdoor Season at the Harding Invitational in Arkansas

SEARCY, Ark. – On Saturday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma track and field teams open the outdoor season at the Harding Invitational in Arkansas.

On the women's side, throwing events were the major highlight, led by Kyli Reser's 4^th place finish in the discus event, throwing 39.06 meters. Macey Crandall placed in 17^th with a throw of 31.20 meters, and Laura Barrios Bardi came in 21^st with a throw of 25.53 meters.

Kyra Willett led the Drovers in the women's shot put, concluding in 9^th place with a throw of 10.35 meters. Kyli Reser and Macey Crandall finished back-to0back in 14^th and 15^th place, respectively. Reser delivered a toss of 9.88 meters, while Crandall's best throw went 9.68 meters. 

Alayna Nichols placed in 17^th with a throw of 9.05 meters, and Laura Barrios Bardi placed in 19^th with a throw of 8.65 meters. Luisa Talavera closed in 22^nd place with a throw of 8.46 meters.

Tanyaradswa Mutara competed in the women's 100-meter dash and earned a 28^th place finish with a time of 14.96. Mutara also placed 19^th in the long jump, with a leap of 4.18 meters.

The Drovers will return to the track on March 22 for the Bethel College Open in Newton, Kan.
