2018: Arlette Melendez made USAO history by becoming the program's first ever female thrower, setting numerous program records.

ATHLETIC HONORS/AWARDS: OKCPS Female Athlete of the Year... Southeast High School Female Athlete of the Year.

FAVORITE SPORTS MEMORY: "My favorite sports memory was when I became the first female thrower to compete in USAO history."

CAREER PLANS: "After college, I plan to go to law school and become an immigration lawyer."
