Drovers Open the Season at OU
NORMAN, Okla. – Thursday evening, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma opened the 2025 indoor track and field season at the Owen Hewett Invitational, hosted by the University of Oklahoma.
Four Drovers competed in the women's shot put event, led by Kyli Reser's 13th place finish with a throw of 10.46 meters. Macey Crandall placed in 18th with a throw of 10.03 meters, followed by Kyra Willett in 25th (9.30m) and Alayna Nichols in 26th (9.04m).
Tanyaradswa Mutara competed in the women's long jump, placing in 19th with a leap of 4.27 meters. Mutara also competed in the 60-meter dash, placing in 56th as she crossed the finish line in 9.54.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Drovers will return to the track on Saturday, January 25 as they compete at the NAIA/JUCO Invitational in Pittsburg, Kan.
