PIZZA AND A TOP 25 SHOWDOWN

CHICKASHA, Okla. – On Saturday night (Sept. 16), the No. 23 ranked University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma will host a massive non-conference showdown against No. 25 ranked Ottawa University Arizona. 

As if the high-powered matchup on the pitch wasn't exciting enough, there will also be FREE PIZZA & SNOW CONES for USAO students, faculty, and staff (while supplies last). Additionally, there will be a giveaway for two YMCA memberships.

The Drovers have been very impressive so far this season, producing a 5-2 record and they have one of the most electric offenses in the country. The offense is headlined by Alicia Rey, who was the 2022 SAC Offensive Player of the Year, and she has continued her success this season as she has collected the last two SAC Offensive Player of the Week awards. Rey currently leads the NAIA in goals scored (11) and points (26), and in her marvelous career, she has tallied 55 goals, 31 assists, and 139 points in 67 games played.

The Spirit come into the contest with a 5-1 record, and they have outscored opponents by a wide margin of 22-3. Additionally, OUAZ has held their opponent scoreless in each of their five victories so far this season.
