USAO Women's Golf: Year in Review 2025-26

The women's golf program produced their best season in program history, finishing fourth at the SAC Championship. Additionally, the women's team received votes in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Rating for the first time in program history. The team was also exceptional in the classroom, producing the highest team GPA on campus with a 3.63.

  • STEVE HOLDEN – SAC WOMEN'S GOLF COACH OF THE YEAR

Coach Holden's dedication to the USAO golf program is unmatched and the award is well-deserved after leading the women to the best season in program history, which included one team win at the Southwestern Christian Invitational, and they finished in the top five in eight of their ten tournaments this season.

Holden guided Amy Reavis to an individual win at the Top of Texas Invitational, as well as runner-up performances from Miah Luong (x2) and Hudson Woloss.

In total, the Drovers had eight top five individual performances at tournaments this season (Luong x2, Reavis x2, Woloss x4).

Lastly, Holden helped guide Miah Luong to a SAC Golfer of the Week award in September.

  • AMY REAVIS – SAC WOMEN'S GOLF FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR

Amy Reavis made an instant impact in her rookie campaign, claiming a win at the Top of Texas Invitational. Reavis is currently ranked as the No. 114 women's golfer in the NAIA on Scoreboard.com, and posted a 78.4 scoring average.

  • HUDSON WOLOSS – ALL-CONFERENCE

One of the veterans of the squad was incredibly consistent this year, producing four top five finishes out of USAO's 10 tournaments, including a runner-up performance at the Top of Texas Invitational.

Woloss is currently ranked as the No. 95 women's golfer in the NAIA on Scoreboard.com.

  • MIAH LUONG – SAC GOLFER OF THE WEEK (SEPT. 9, 2025)

Miah Luong made a big splash as a freshman, earning a pair of runner-up finishes as well as a SAC Golfer of the Week award. At the conclusion of the season, Luong ranked No. 120 in the NAIA.

 

The women's golf team produced the USAO athletic department's highest grade point average of 3.63, and earned the SAC Scholar Team recognition.
