Woloss and Luong Earn Top 10 Finishes at Kyle Blaser Invitational
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – On Monday and Tuesday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma women's golf team earned a fourth-place finish at the Kyle Blaser Invitational. The tournament was highlighted by Hudson Woloss and Miah Luong placing in the top 10 as individuals.
The Kyle Blaser Invitational was competed at Gaillardia Country Club, and featured a 6,053-yard, par 72 layout. The Drovers battled windy conditions and completed with a two-round score of 651 (322, 329).
Hudson Woloss led the Drovers with a sixth-place finish, firing a score of 159 (78, 81). Miah Luong followed closely in ninth with a 161 (80, 81).
Amy Reavis concluded in a tie for 12th with a 162 (80, 82), followed by Moriah Shropshire in a tie for 23rd with a 169 (84, 85).
Katelynn Powell closed in 36th with a 180 (89, 91).
For the first time in program history, USAO is represented by three players in the Scoreboard NAIA women's golf rankings. Hudson Woloss is currently the No. 84 ranked golfer in the NAIA, closely trailed by Miah Luong at No. 86, and Amy Reavis now sits at No. 99.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Drovers will return to on March 30-31 as they travel to Cohutta, Georgia to compete at the Lady Roadrunner Invitational. The tournament will be held at Nob North Golf Course.
