Luong and the Drovers Deliver Historic Performances at the Texas Intercollegiate
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – On Monday and Tuesday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma women's golf team delivered the best performance in program history at the Texas Intercollegiate, hosted by No. 5 ranked Texas Wesleyan University. The Drovers finished in third place, just 11 strokes behind Blinn College. Miah Luong delivered a historic performance and earned a runner-up finish for the second week in a row, just three-strokes back of the winner.
The tournament featured a field of top tier opponents from the NAIA and NJCAA, including No. 5 Texas Wesleyan (NAIA), No. 7 Blinn College (NJCAA), No. 10 McLennan CC (NJCAA), No. 11 Tyler JC (NJCAA), and No. 12 Weatherford College (NJCAA).
The Drovers are without question off to their best start in program history, having won the team championship at the Southwestern Christian Invitational in the first week of the season, followed by a podium finish at the always-tough Texas Intercollegiate.

On Tuesday she improved her program record with USAO's first ever sub-70 round (68, -4). In the tournament she recorded one eagle and 14 birdies, while only carding eight bogies/double-bogies.
Hudson Woloss delivered a very strong performance as she finished in 12th, carding a 75 and a 74 on Monday, prior to a 76 in the final round.
