Woloss Claims Third Consecitive Top Five Finish to Lead the Drovers in Texas

WILLOW PARK, Texas – On Monday and Tuesday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma women's golf team earned a fourth-place finish at the Texas Wesleyan Spring Invitational, led by another top five individual finish from Hudson Woloss. The fifth-place finish for Woloss is her third consecutive such accomplishment, following a first-place finish at the Evangel Spring Invitational in mid-March, and a fifth-place finish at the Bethany College Classic last week. Earlier on Tuesday, the Sooner Athletic Conference recognized Woloss as the Golfer of the Week for her performance in Kansas. 

 

The Texas Wesleyan Spring Invitational was competed at Squaw Creek Golf Course and featured a 5835-yard, par 72 layout. The Drovers completed with a three-round score of 994 (335, 320, 339). 

 

In total, Woloss carded a 230 (77, 76, 77) and sits just outside the top 100 in the NAIA rankings on Scoreboard.com at No. 104.

Addesen Glass concluded in 18th with a score of 243 (79, 81, 83), closely trailed by Alix Schueneman in 20thwith a score of 246 (83, 76, 87). Moriah Shropshire placed in 32nd with a total of 275 (96, 87, 92).

 

WHAT'S NEXT?

The Drovers now head into the postseason as they compete at the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship at Twin Hills Country Club in Oklahoma City on April 28-29.
