Romero and Shepherd Earn All-Conference Honors

OKLAHOMA CITY – Okla. – On Wednesday afternoon, the Sooner Athletic Conference announced their postseason awards for men's soccer and the Drovers had two players recognized for their excellent performances this season.

FABIAN ROMERO – First Team All-SAC

The freshman made an immediate impact for the Drovers and gives the Drovers a lot of hope moving forward. Romero appeared in only 12 games but managed to tally team-highs in goals (5), assists (6), and points (16).

CALLUM SHEPHERD – Second Team All-SAC

Callum Shepherd was selected to his third all-conference selection as a tremendous two-way player, producing four goals, three assists, and 11 points on offense. For his efforts, he was awarded an SAC Player of the Week honor earlier this season.

In his career, Shepherd has appeared in 83 games, tallying 12 goals, nine assists, and 33 points.
