Drovers Remain Unbeaten at Home with Shutout Against OPSU
CHICKASHA, Okla. – Tuesday night, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (5-4-3, 2-1-1 SAC) bounced back with a 2-0 shutout victory against Oklahoma Panhandle State University (2-6-2, 0-3-1 SAC).
After the Drovers opened the 2024 season with a pair of losses in Louisiana, they have been terrific, going 5-2-3 over their next 10 games. Additionally, the Drovers are still unbeaten at home (4-0-3).
Early in the contest, USAO held possession of the ball for majority of the first half, but the score remained knotted at 0-0 for the opening 40 minutes. USAO took a one-goal advantage into halftime.
Following the break, the Drovers quickly added to their lead as Boldt scored his second of the game in the 46th minute, assisted by Callum Scott. Both teams generated some scoring chances late in the second half, but neither team was able to score for the remainder of regulation.
