Four Drovers Place in Top 10 as USAO Earns Runner-Up Finish at the Kyle Blaser Invitational
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Monday and Tuesday, the No. 17 ranked University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma men's golf team battled their way to a runner-up finish at the Kyle Blaser Invitational, hosted by Oklahoma City University. The tournament was highlighted by four Drovers placing in the top 10 as individuals.
Kyle Blaser Invitational was competed at Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City, and featured a 7,255-yard, par 72 layout. The Drovers battled windy conditions and completed with a two-round score of 597 (298, 299). The tournament featured a strong field of opponents, including No. 4 Oklahoma City, No. 10 MidAmerica Nazarene (Mo.), No. 17 USAO, and RV Bellevue (Neb.).
Jaxen Brewer led the way for USAO, concluding in fourth place with a total score of 147 (75, 72), closely trailed by Cooper Hardison in fifth with a 148 (74, 74). Conner Cryer finished in seventh place as he carded a 150 (74, 76) and Jaeden Ellis placed in ninth with a 152 (75, 77).
Gavin Elmore closed in 15th place with a 155 (77, 78), followed by Parker Pogue in 20th with a 160 (78, 82). Carson Click and Luca Gisler finished in a tie for 35th with identical scores of 168.

The Drovers will return to action on April 13-14 as they compete at the Texas Wesleyan Spring Invitational at Squaw Creek Golf Course in Willow Park, Texas.
