Cryer, Pogue, and Hardison Place in Top 20 at SAC Championship
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – On Monday and Tuesday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma men's golf team earned a fifth-place finish at the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship.
The SAC Championship was competed at Twin Hills Country Club in Oklahoma City, and featured a 6857-yard, par 72 layout. The Drovers completed with a three-round score of 912 (301, 314, 297).
Conner Cryer and Parker Pogue led the Drovers as they finished in a tie for 14th with identical scores of 222. On Monday, Cryer carded a 75 and a 77, followed by a 70 in the final round. Pogue improved in every round of the tournament, scoring a 76 in round one and a 75 in round two, prior to a 71 in the final round.
Cooper Hardison also placed in the top 20, finishing in 18th with a total of 224 (74, 75, 75). Luke O'Dell and Tate Trotter closed in a tie for 30th with scored of 235. Jaeden Ellis carded a 237 and concluded in 32nd place.
