Drovers Finish in Sixth at Midwest Spring National Invite
MANHATTAN, Kan. – On Monday and Tuesday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma men's golf team earned a sixth-place finish at the Midwest Spring National Invite in The Little Apple.
The tournament was competed at Colbert Hills Golf Course and featured a 7049-yard, par 72 layout. The Drovers completed with a three-round score of 908 (297, 301, 310). The tournament featured a star-studded field, including seven teams ranked or receiving votes in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll (No. 5 Friends, No. 15 Mount Mercy (IA), No. 23 Kansas Wesleyan, RV USAO, RV Bellevue, RV Hastings, Northwestern (IA)).
Conner Cryer led the Drovers with a 21st place finish, firing a total score of 227 (74, 73, 80). Cooper Hardison and Jaeden Ellis finished in a tie for 28th with identical scores of 230. Hardison carded scores of 70 and 83 on Monday, followed by a 77 in the final round on Tuesday. Ellis tallied a 75 and a team-best round of 71 on Monday, prior to an 84 on day two.
Luca Gisler concluded in 36th with a 232 (78, 80, 74), followed by Luke O'Dell in 49th with a 237 (81, 77, 79).

The Drovers will return to action on April 14-15 as they compete at the Texas Wesleyan Spring Invitational at Squaw Creek Golf Course in Willow Park, Texas.
