Quezada, Harrell, and Allen Earn All-SAC Recognitions
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – On Thursday afternoon, the Sooner Athletic Conference announced that three members of the USAO men's basketball team had earned All-Conference honors for their sensational performances throughout the 2023-24 season. Reggie Quezada earned a spot on the first-team All-SAC, while Jaden Harrell and Cade Allen received honorable mention selections.
REGGIE QUEZADA - All-Conference 1st Team
The sharpshooter from the Big Apple has been sensational for the Drovers, averaging 19.2 points per game through 28 games played. Quezada scores at a high frequency, while remaining efficient, shooting nearly 48 percent from the field and over 38 percent from three-point range. Additionally, Quezada averaged 5.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. He made program history, scoring 43 points in a win at OPSU, which is the second most ever for a Drover.
JADEN HARRELL - All-Conference Honorable Mention
Jaden Harrell has become one of the best playmakers in the country, averaging 5.6 assists per game, which ranks second in the conference and tied for 13th nationally. Harrell also averaged 4.8 points per game and 4.3 rebounds.
CADE ALLEN - All-Conference Honorable Mention
Cade Allen has been one of the best shooters in the country all season, ranking fourth in the NAIA in three-point percentage (.505). Allen is currently averaging 9.1 points per game and has produced at least 10 points on 11 different occasions so far this season.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Drovers will open the postseason as the No. 5 seed in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament and will head to Plainview, Texas for the quarterfinals at No. 4 Wayland Baptist University on Thursday, February 29. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM CT.
