Drover Baseball to Host Staff and Faculty Appreciation Night on Friday, April 14
CHICKASHA, Okla. – On Friday, April 14, the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma baseball team will be hosting John Feaver Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night as the Drovers host a double-header against Wayland Baptist University. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 4:00 PM, followed by a 6:30 PM start time in game two, at Bill Smith Ballpark. All Science & Arts faculty and staff get free entry to the games and will be recognized for their contributions to the university.
The three-game series will conclude on Saturday, April 15 and the Drovers will be celebrating their senior class with their annual Senior Day ceremony following the game. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 PM at Bill Smith Ballpark.

Science & Arts currently owns an overall record of 24-14, and a 10-5 clip against Sooner Athletic Conference opponents, which places the Drovers in a four-way tie for first place in the conference, based off win percentage. After being swept in the first conference series of the season at SAGU, the Drovers have won four consecutive series against conference foes (MACU, TX WES, CCC, SCU).
Wayland Baptist enters the series with a 24-13 overall record, including a 9-6 record against SAC opponents. WBU currently sits in sixth place in the conference standings, but they are only one game back of the top spot.
The Drovers hold a 36-14 win-loss record against the Pioneers in the all-time series, which dates back to March 31, 2007. Furthermore, Science & Arts has won 18 of the last 19 matchups against Wayland Baptist since March of 2016.
